Job Title: Systems Integration Backup & Automation Engineer(Dell Avamar/ Dell Networker)

Location: Chennai 600083

Shift: EST Shift 6:30pm-3:30pm

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Integration professional specializing in enterprise backup management and task automation. The role focuses on administering Dell backup solutions and implementing automation using Python and Ansible to ensure efficient data protection, recovery, and performance optimization across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Dell Avamar and Dell Networker backup environments.
• Manage and optimize Data Domain systems.
• Automate backup and restore operations using Python and Ansible.
• Ensure backup integrity and validate recovery processes.
• Troubleshoot backup failures and performance issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability.
• Maintain documentation, compliance records, and operational reports.
• Follow enterprise backup and recovery best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience (Expert Level) in enterprise backup administration.

Strong hands-on experience with Dell Avamar and Dell Networker.

Experience working with Data Domain systems.

Proficiency in Python and Ansible scripting for automation.

Solid understanding of backup, recovery, and data protection strategies.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Ability to work in multi-environment, enterprise-scale infrastructure.
