We are looking for a Systems Administrator to manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensure system reliability, and support secure and scalable operations across Scry AIs platforms. This role is critical in maintaining uptime, performance, and operational stability.

Role Overview

As a Systems Administrator at Scry AI, you will be responsible for managing servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations. You will work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of systems.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing modern IT environments in a fast-paced, technology-driven setup.

Key Responsibilities

System & Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain servers, cloud infrastructure, and operating systems
• Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability
• Handle system configuration, upgrades, and patch management

Monitoring & Incident Management

• Monitor system performance, uptime, and security
• Identify and resolve system issues, outages, and bottlenecks
• Implement monitoring tools and alerting mechanisms

Security & Access Control

• Manage user access, permissions, and identity systems
• Ensure systems comply with security standards and best practices
• Perform regular security checks, updates, and vulnerability assessments

Deployment & Support

• Support application deployments and environment setup
• Collaborate with engineering teams for system integration and scaling
• Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and provide technical support

Backup, Recovery & Documentation

• Implement backup and disaster recovery processes
• Maintain system documentation, configurations, and procedures
• Ensure business continuity through reliable infrastructure practices

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong experience in system administration or IT infrastructure roles
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows servers and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with networking concepts, virtualization, and storage systems
• Experience with monitoring tools and automation scripts
• Understanding of security best practices and access management
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
