Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SystemC Modeling Engineer to drive system-level modeling, simulation, and early architecture validation for next-generation SoC platforms. In this role, you will enable pre-silicon software development, accelerate system bring-up, and influence architectural decisions through high-fidelity virtual models.

You will work within a cross-functional team spanning hardware design, software, and verification to deliver scalable and performance-optimized system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

System Modeling & Virtual Platforms

• Develop and maintain SystemC/TLM models for complex SoCs including processors, interconnects, peripherals, and hardware accelerators
• Build reusable subsystem-level and full-chip virtual platforms for early validation

Simulation & Validation

• Perform system-level simulations to verify functional correctness, performance, and power behavior
• Debug model inaccuracies and improve simulation efficiency

Architecture & Performance Analysis

• Analyze system architectures to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
• Support architectural trade-off studies using virtual prototypes

Pre-Silicon Software Enablement

• Enable early OS, firmware, and application software development on SystemC platforms
• Collaborate with software teams to validate boot flows, drivers, and system behavior

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with RTL designers, DV teams, and software engineers to align system models with hardware intent
• Support integration of models into verification and CI environments

Minimum Qualifications

• ME/BE in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
• 4+ years of industry experience in system modeling or virtual platform development
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• SystemC/TLM 2.0 modeling
• C/C++ programming
• Experience building SoC-level models including CPUs, interconnects, peripherals, and accelerators
• Solid understanding of computer architecture and SoC subsystems

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps workflows
• Experience with version control & CI tools: Git, Jenkins
• Automation & scripting using Python, Perl, Shell
• Exposure to pre-silicon software bring-up and virtual prototyping environments
