System Test Analyst

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Software Test Analyst in Chennai, India.

What a typical day looks like:

• Work within the Software Development team to help increase the overall quality of our internal/external systems
• Analyze requirements, specifications and supporting documentation
• Define and refine acceptance criteria to ensure requirements are testable and unambiguous
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
• Highlight gaps or inconsistencies in specifications
• Provide estimates on all QA related tasks
• Create Test Plan, Test Scripts documentation
• Report defects in a clear & concise manner
• Build and maintain a regression suite of tests (manual and automated)

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• 2+ years of experience manual software testing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to challenge decisions/solutions as and when required
• A good understanding of the Software Development process (agile, waterfall etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to identify testing requirements from documented and undocumented sources
• Experience writing test scripts and linked to system requirements
• Automated testing experience
• Experience in using industry-standard tools such as Jira, Confluence
• Experience working within Manufacturing or Finance Industries
• Mobile testing
• ISEB / ISTQB Certificate in Software Testing
