Role: System Architect

What You'll Do

  • Lead the planning, setup, and qualification of SMT production lines for OEM/ODM product programs.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Program Management, and customers to define manufacturing requirements and production strategies.
  • Design line layouts, define throughput and manpower requirements, and support manufacturing cost estimation.
  • Drive equipment selection, CapEx justification, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Develop and optimize SMT processes including screen printing, pick-and-place, reflow soldering, and AOI inspection.
  • Lead NPI activities, pilot builds, process validation, and manufacturing readiness reviews.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, quality, engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Apply DFX principles to improve manufacturability, testability, quality, and production efficiency.
  • Support production ramp-up, yield improvement, and early-life issue resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost, and delivery performance.


Desired Skills

  • Experience in OEM or ODM electronics manufacturing environments
  • Strong expertise in SMT assembly processes (Screen Printing, Pick-and-Place, Reflow, AOI)
  • PCB manufacturing and assembly process knowledge
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Industrialization
  • Production Line Setup, Commissioning, and Capacity Planning
  • DFX (Design for Manufacturability and Testability)
  • Process Development, Validation, and Yield Improvement
  • Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement
  • Supply Chain Coordination and Component Planning
  • Project Management and Cross-Functional Team Leadership
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for KPI reporting and data analysis
  • Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management capabilities


Added Advantage to the Role

  • Experience supporting global OEM/ODM customers across multiple product categories
  • Exposure to high-volume electronics manufacturing and EMS operations
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment selection and factory expansion projects
  • Ability to coordinate with global teams across different time zones
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, supplier visits, facility audits, and project reviews
  • Experience supporting RF, Automotive, Industrial, IoT, Consumer Electronics, or Networking products
