Role: System Architect

What You'll Do
- Lead the planning, setup, and qualification of SMT production lines for OEM/ODM product programs.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Program Management, and customers to define manufacturing requirements and production strategies.
- Design line layouts, define throughput and manpower requirements, and support manufacturing cost estimation.
- Drive equipment selection, CapEx justification, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Develop and optimize SMT processes including screen printing, pick-and-place, reflow soldering, and AOI inspection.
- Lead NPI activities, pilot builds, process validation, and manufacturing readiness reviews.
- Coordinate with supply chain, quality, engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Apply DFX principles to improve manufacturability, testability, quality, and production efficiency.
- Support production ramp-up, yield improvement, and early-life issue resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Desired Skills
- Experience in OEM or ODM electronics manufacturing environments
- Strong expertise in SMT assembly processes (Screen Printing, Pick-and-Place, Reflow, AOI)
- PCB manufacturing and assembly process knowledge
- New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Industrialization
- Production Line Setup, Commissioning, and Capacity Planning
- DFX (Design for Manufacturability and Testability)
- Process Development, Validation, and Yield Improvement
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement
- Supply Chain Coordination and Component Planning
- Project Management and Cross-Functional Team Leadership
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for KPI reporting and data analysis
- Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management capabilities
Added Advantage to the Role
- Experience supporting global OEM/ODM customers across multiple product categories
- Exposure to high-volume electronics manufacturing and EMS operations
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment selection and factory expansion projects
- Ability to coordinate with global teams across different time zones
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, supplier visits, facility audits, and project reviews
- Experience supporting RF, Automotive, Industrial, IoT, Consumer Electronics, or Networking products
