Role Description:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Monitor and maintain IT systems, and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot system and network problems
• Ensure smooth functioning of campus IT services
• Coordinate with users and vendors for issue resolution
• Maintain system security, backups, and data integrity
• The candidate should be capable of installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of server infrastructure, including, but not limited to, Windows Server, Linux/Unix servers, virtualization platforms, cloud-based server environments, database servers, web/application servers, storage and backup servers, and other enterprise server environments.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering.
• Three year programming experience in languages like C/C++/Java, etc. databases: MySQL/ORACLE with PHP, etc. Foundations and practices under WINDOWS/LINUX/UNIX platforms from a recognized Public/PUS/Private organization/Educational Institution.

Or

• M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering/M.Sc. Computer Science/MCA.
• Two years programming experience in languages like C/C++/Java, etc. databases: MySQL/ORACLE with PHP, etc. Foundations and practices under WINDOWS/LINUX/UNIX platforms from a recognized Public/PUS/Private organization/Educational Institution.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years in IT support/system administration. Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and server management. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience (as per university norms).
