About the Role
The IT Support / System Administrator will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintaining the organization's IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, network, telephony and other IT-related issues (onsite and remote).
- Experience with telephony/communication systems (Avaya, Genesys, SIP, WebRTC, Twilio, Zoom, Teams, Cisco).
- Strong in troubleshooting, log analysis, and incident management.
- Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Azure cloud PC and other enterprise systems.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
- Manage IT assets, perform inventory audits, and maintain documentation.
- Ensure data backups are performed regularly and securely stored.
- Enforce security best practices and company policies across systems and users.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement and support IT solutions.
- Maintain and update IT documentation, SOPs, and user guides.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience working with global teams and vendors in a 24x7 support environment.
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or system administration roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune policy, M365 admin, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure cloud, AWS) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices, SLA management, and escalation frameworks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals / MCSA / MS-900.
- ITIL Foundation.
