Job Description

The client is seeking a Support Stress Calculation Engineer to perform detailed structural analysis for piping and HVAC support systems, ensuring compliance with established engineering standards and nuclear safety regulations. The role involves conducting stress calculations for support structures, analyzing load cases, and validating input data to ensure accuracy and reliability. The engineer will apply relevant standards such as EN 13480 and coordinate closely with CAD designers and engineers to integrate technical solutions. Responsibilities include conducting technical verification and quality checks, ensuring nuclear safety compliance, and reviewing outputs from peers and subcontractors. Proficiency in tools like Navisworks is required, and the engineer will manage deliverables within specified timelines. The position demands a strong understanding of piping and HVAC systems, familiarity with 3D modeling, and experience in nuclear projects. The role operates on a full-time basis.
