Area(s) of responsibility

6+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra and/or DataStax Enterprise administration.
•
Mandatory certification: DataStax Certified Cassandra Administrator.
•
Mandatory hands-on experience with Ansible for automation, configuration management, deployment orchestration, and operational standardization.
•
Strong experience in creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and reusable automation components.
•
Strong understanding of Cassandra architecture, including replication, partitioning, consistency levels, compaction strategies, repair mechanisms, and performance tuning.
•
Strong experience in Linux server administration across RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu environments.
•
Strong scripting skills in Shell/Bash; Python knowledge preferred.
•
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for database and infrastructure environments.
•
Solid knowledge of backup/recovery, disaster recovery, high availability, and production support practices.
•
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across database, OS, and automation layers.
•
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
