Role Description

Shanmugam Associates is seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruchirappalli. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and planning structural systems for architectural projects. Key tasks include performing structural calculations, conducting structural analyses, and preparing designs using relevant tools and software. Collaboration with other team members to ensure the structural integrity and sustainability of the projects is a core part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles to design and analyze structural systems effectively.
• Strong knowledge and application of Calculations and Structural Analysis to ensure safe and efficient designs.
• Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing detailed and accurate project drawings.
• Masters degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Familiarity with sustainable design and construction practices is highly advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
