Built in partnership with ANSR, the center draws on ANSRs proven experience in establishing and scaling high-performance Global Capability Centers (GCCs) for leading global enterprises.
ANSR MedTech center brings together world-class engineering, product, and technology talent to build next-generation healthcare platforms and solutions that power global operations.
Our Vision:
To build a next-generation MedTech capability center that powers global healthcare innovation.
We envision:
- High-impact innovation hubs shaping global product and technology roadmaps.
- Centers that go beyond support functions to drive core engineering and platform development.
- Sustainable, scalable ecosystems that nurture world-class MedTech talent.
- Capability centers that directly influence patient outcomes worldwide.
- At its core, the ANSR MedTech Capability Center is about enabling innovation that touches lives at scale.
About R&D:
The R&D organization at ANSR MedTech is being built to support the development, testing, and long-term sustainment of complex, regulated products used at global scale.
This team plays a critical role in engineering excellence, product quality, and operational reliability, working closely with global R&D leaders to deliver against well-defined technical standards, quality systems, and product outcomes.
Unlike a traditional offshore or support model, R&D in India is designed to take on meaningful ownership across the product lifecycle, particularly in areas where scale, focus, and execution discipline are essential.
What Makes This Opportunity Stand Out:
- Work on real, production grade products that require high engineering rigor, reliability, and regulatory discipline.
- Be part of a team that spans embedded software, mobile applications, systems engineering, test automation, and lifecycle engineering.
- Contribute to end-to-end R&D workflowsfrom development and verification through sustaining engineering and triage.
- Help build and scale a new R&D capability from the ground up, shaping labs, automation, ways of working, and quality culture.
- Partner directly with senior global R&D leaders and engineers, gaining exposure to how products are built and operated at enterprise scale.
How the R&D Team Operates:
- Teams are based in India and embedded in day-to-day delivery, not isolated support functions.
- Technical direction, quality standards, and product outcomes are globally aligned, with strong local execution and accountability.
- The organization is built under a BuildOperateTransfer (BOT) model with ANSR, with responsibilities expanding as the site matures.
- Success is measured by engineering quality, predictable delivery, adherence to quality systems, reduced defects over time, and strong collaboration with global R&D teams.
Position Overview:
As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) you are a technical leader and force multiplier responsible for shaping the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of critical platforms and services. You will set reliability strategy, influence architecture across multiple teams, and drive systemic improvements that embed reliability into the full software development lifecycle.
In this role, you operate with significant autonomy, partner closely with senior engineering and product leaders, and lead by example through deep technical expertise, mentorship, and cross organizational impact. You are expected to anticipate risks, design durable solutions, and raise the overall reliability maturity of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and evolution of highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across multiple systems or domains.
- Define and influence reliability architecture standards, best practices, and long term SRE strategy.
- Act as a technical authority for reliability engineering, guiding teams on architectural tradeoffs and operational risk.
- Partner with software engineering, product, security, and platform teams to embed reliability into system design from inception through production.
- Influence roadmaps and technical decisions to proactively address reliability, scalability, and operational concerns.
- Drive alignment on reliability priorities across teams with differing goals and constraints.
- Lead complex incident response efforts, serving as a technical escalation point during high severity events.
- Own and drive root cause analysis and systemic remediation, ensuring lessons learned results in durable improvements.
- Establish and evolve SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, and coach teams on their effective use.
- Architect and champion automation-first solutions for provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Lead and evolve infrastructure-as-code patterns using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Design scalable observability strategies, including monitoring, alerting, and logging standards.
- Drive proactive performance tuning, capacity planning, and resilience testing across platforms.
- Identify and eliminate systemic bottlenecks and single points of failure.
- Mentor and coach Senior and mid-level engineers, raising the technical bar for the broader SRE and engineering community.
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, architectural diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and operational ownership.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, patterns, and industry best practices.
- Advocate for and pilot new approaches that measurably improve reliability, efficiency, and developer experience.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 812+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering, with demonstrated impact at scale.
- Proven experience leading reliability initiatives across multiple teams or complex systems.
- Deep expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
- Strong hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, security, and failure modes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and communicate effectively with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.
