Role: SRE- RSA Kafka_Axon

Experience Range: 4 to 8 Years

Location: Pune

Must Have:

Core Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in production environments.
• Solid understanding of Axon Framework, CQRS, and Event Sourcing.
• Experience supporting RSA-based security systems or enterprise security platforms.
• Proficiency in Linux, networking, and system-level troubleshooting.

Programming & Tools

• Strong programming skills in Java (preferred for Axon), plus scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, etc.

Good to Have:

• Experience with distributed system design and large-scale data platforms.
• Knowledge of security best practices, IAM, SSL/TLS, and encryption.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).
• Experience with chaos engineering and performance testing.
• Exposure to financial, payment, or high-compliance environments.

Essential:

Reliability & Operations

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant systems aligned with SRE best practices.
• Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical services.
• Perform incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and postincident reviews.
• Reduce toil through automation and self-healing mechanisms.

Kafka & Event-Driven Platforms

• Deploy, manage, and optimize Apache Kafka clusters (brokers, topics, partitions, replication).
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of Kafka-based event streaming.
• Monitor consumer lag, throughput, latency, and data durability.
• Troubleshoot Kafka-related issues including rebalancing, data loss risk, and performance bottlenecks.

Axon Framework & Microservices

• Support and operate Axon Frameworkbased microservices using CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns.
• Ensure ility of event stores, command buses, query buses, and message routing.
• Collaborate with development teams on resilience patterns (retry, circuit breakers, idempotency).

Security & RSA Integration

• Manage and support integrations with RSA security solutions (authentication, authorization, encryption, identity, or fraud-related components as applicable).
• Ensure secure communication, certificate handling, and key management.
• Collaborate with security teams on threat modeling, compliance, and audits.

Infrastructure & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable deployments.
• Automate infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Operate systems on Kubernetes/Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Implement observability using metrics, logs, and traces (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).

Minimum Qualification:

• 15 years of full-time education
• Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
