Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in performance engineering, high availability, and enterprise database management. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on experience in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, performance tuning, and large-scale OLTP environments, preferably within the banking or financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Engineering & Optimization

• Perform advanced performance tuning using AWR, ASH, SQL Trace, and execution plans
• Analyze wait events, CPU/memory bottlenecks, and I/O issues
• Optimize queries, indexing, partitioning, and PL/SQL
• Establish and maintain performance baselines

High Availability & Disaster Recovery

• Manage Oracle RAC and Data Guard / Active Data Guard setups
• Conduct DR drills and failover simulations
• Handle RMAN backup and recovery strategies
• Ensure RPO/RTO compliance

Banking Domain & Critical Systems Support

• Support high-volume OLTP systems (Core Banking, Payments, Treasury)
• Handle Sev1/Sev2 incidents and provide RCA reports
• Work with business, audit, and regulatory stakeholders

Security & Compliance

• Implement TDE, RBAC, data masking, and encryption
• Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards
• Manage SSL/TLS and wallet configurations

Automation & Operations

• Develop automation using Shell/Python/Ansible
• Improve monitoring using OEM and custom tools
• Enhance incident response and system observability

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN
• Hands-on experience in AWR/ASH performance tuning
• Experience with Exadata, ASM, OEM
• Knowledge of GoldenGate, SPM, RAT, EBR
• Strong Linux performance troubleshooting skills
• Experience with multi-terabyte databases & high TPS systems
• Exposure to OCI / Cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle OCP / OCM Certification
• Experience in Banking / Financial Services
• Exposure to regulatory audits and compliance
