Sr Engineer - Target India

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to build and deliver high-quality, scalable applications with a strong focus on frontend development using React and TypeScript.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly skilled technically, hands-on, and capable of owning features end-to-end, while contributing to architecture and mentoring junior engineers.

What You’ll Do

Build & Deliver

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable full-stack applications
• Own feature development end-to-end (frontend + backend) 
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code
• Troubleshoot issues and provide root cause solutions

Frontend Engineering (Primary Focus)

• Develop applications using: 
  • React.js
  • TypeScript
• Build reusable, maintainable UI components
• Optimize application performance and user experience 
• Follow and contribute to frontend best practices and standards
• Work with Next.js where applicable

Testing & Quality

• Write and maintain: 
  • Unit tests (Jest, React Testing Library) 
  • Integration and E2E tests 
• Ensure code accounts for edge cases, error handling, and reliability
• Contribute to improving test coverage and quality metrics

Backend Development

• Build and maintain services using: 
  • Java, Spring Boot
• Develop REST APIs and event-driven services
• Work with: 
  • Postgres, NoSQL databases
