Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Engineer for a Contact based, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The Sr. Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and workflows. Key responsibilities include working closely with cross-functional teams to support data integration, performing ETL processes, optimizing data storage, and building advanced data models to provide actionable insights for organizational growth.

Role Description

This is a onsite(Pune/H'bad/Bangaluru), contract role for a Data Engineer. We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and DBT to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling, along with hands-on experience managing and transforming large-scale datasets.

Qualifications

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows for

analytics and reporting.

Build, optimize, and manage data models using dbt while following industry best

practices for testing, documentation, and modular development.

Develop and maintain enterprise-grade data warehouse solutions on Snowflake.

Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure high-

quality and reliable data delivery.

Collaborate with business analysts, analytics engineers, and stakeholders to gather

reporting and analytics requirements.

Optimize SQL queries and improve Snowflake performance for large-scale datasets and

complex transformations.

Implement testing, monitoring, and documentation frameworks for data pipelines and

DBT models.

Support deployment activities, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure timely

resolution of data pipeline failures.

Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and coding best practices.

Participate in peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives

• within the data engineering team.
