Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend ABAP / BTP Developer to drive the core development of a global B2B e-commerce platform built on SAP technologies.

This role involves designing scalable backend solutions, building APIs, and integrating SAP systems with cloud platforms to enable seamless digital commerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance OData & RESTful APIs using SAP NetWeaver Gateway
• Build robust and scalable business logic using Object-Oriented ABAP
• Implement core business processes like pricing, availability checks, and order creation
• Integrate SAP systems using BAPIs, IDocs, and standard interfaces
• Work on SAP SD (Order-to-Cash) processes for B2B e-commerce scenarios
• Develop and manage integrations between on-premise SAP and SAP BTP/cloud systems
• Ensure high-quality code through ABAP Unit testing, code reviews, and best practices
• Collaborate with frontend teams, business stakeholders, and external partners
• Participate in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) development processes

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP Development
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPs)
• Hands-on experience in OData, REST APIs, and SAP NetWeaver Gateway
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD (Order-to-Cash, Pricing, Contracts)
• Experience with BAPIs, IDocs, and SAP integrations
• Familiarity with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP BTP & SAP Cloud Connector
• Knowledge of SAP Basis & Authorization concepts
• Exposure to S/4HANA environments
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (ABAP Unit, etc.)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
