Senior AEM Developer (AEM/React)

We are seeking a Senior AEM Developer with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager and modern frontend technologies (React, JavaScript). The role focuses on building scalable, high-performance CMS-driven experiences with strong awareness of architecture, API integrations, performance optimization, and SEO.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities-

• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, dialogs, and workflows.
• Implement editable templates, custom components, and content fragments.
• Integrate AEM with external systems using REST APIs.
• Customize and optimize AEM workflows, schedulers, and services
• Ensure best practices for AEM architecture, security, and scalability.
• Support content authors and troubleshoot publishing issues.

Frontend Development

• Build modern, reusable UI components using JavaScript and React

Integrate React with AEM using SPA Editor or headless AEM

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces

CMS Architecture & Integrations

• Contribute to enterprise CMS architecture decisions
• Develop and consume APIs for backend and third-party integrations
• Work with headless CMS patterns and JSON-based delivery.
• Ensure proper content modeling and structured data usage

Performance, SEO & Quality

• Optimize site performance (Core Web Vitals, caching strategies, lazy loading)
• Apply SEO best practices (semantic HTML, metadata, structured data)
• Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards Write maintainable, testable, and well-documented code

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of Total Experience

5+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

Strong expertise in: o AEM Components, Templates, Workflows o JavaScript (ES6+), React o HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design

Experience with: o AEM SPA Editor or headless AEM o RESTful API integration o CMS architecture and content modeling

Solid understanding of:

1. Web performance optimization
2. SEO fundamentals and accessibility standards

Familiarity with:

1. Git, CI/CD pipelines o Agile/Scrum development processes

Nice to Have

Experience with AEM Cloud Service

Knowledge of GraphQL

Exposure to analytics and personalization tools

Leadership or mentoring experience
