About the Role

We're hiring a SQL Developer with DBA Experience on a 6-month contract. You'll be responsible for writing and optimizing SQL queries, managing Azure SQL, On-prem and cloud databases, performance tuning, handling database security, building ETL pipelines, and supporting backup and disaster recovery processes. You'll work closely with our BI developers and analysts on international projects.

What You'll Do

• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
• Tune database performance and optimize queries for speed and efficiency
• Manage and maintain Azure SQL and cloud databases
• Handle database security, user access management, and permissions
• Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime
• Design and build ETL pipelines for data movement
• Manage database design, normalization, and schema
• Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
• Collaborate with BI developers and analysts on data needs
• Document database processes and configurations

What's In It for You

• CTC: INR 6-10 LPA (80% fixed + 20% variable)
• Maximum take-home pay. Only applicable taxes are deducted. No PF, ESI, or medical insurance deductions. You manage your own savings, insurance, and investments your way.
• Exposure to international BI projects
• Hybrid work setup after initial 3 months at Hebbal, Bangalore
• 5-day work week (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM)

Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension based on performance and project needs)

Selection Process

1. Submit a short video introduction (3-5 minutes about yourself and your SQL experience)
2. Share a sample project or GitHub link showcasing your SQL work
3. Complete SQL problem-solving tasks (shared after initial screening)
