Role Description

We are seeking a strong SQL Developer for a full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad, supporting a US-based manufacturing client from our offshore delivery center.

This role is focused on backend systems, production support, and performance optimization. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining SQL-based solutions, troubleshooting data and database issues, optimizing queries, and supporting application teams with data-level enhancements and fixes.

You will work closely with business stakeholders and application teams to understand data flows, support development needs, and resolve production issues independently. This is a hands-on role requiring strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and comfort working in a US-overlap shift (up to 11:30 PM IST).

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SQL development, including stored procedures, functions, views, joins, indexing, and performance tuning
• Experience troubleshooting production issues related to data, performance, and SQL logic
• Ability to write efficient, scalable, and maintainable SQL code
• Good understanding of database design principles, data integrity, and backend systems
• Experience supporting application teams with data-level customizations and implementations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex data issues independently
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration activities
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably manufacturing environments) is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with US-based stakeholders
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
