Job Description
L2/L3 SQL DBA:
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade SQL Server instances in production and development environments.
- Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Always On Availability Groups, Log Shipping, and Clustering.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve database performance issues using DMVs, Query Store, and third-party monitoring tools.
- SQL Profiler Extended Events DMVs Automate tasks using: PowerShell T-SQL scripting Azure Automation Runbooks Implement monitoring and alerting Patching Compliance Apply SQL Server CUs, service packs, and security patches
- SQL performance tuning High Availability Disaster Recovery HADR SQL Server security and encryption Backup and restore
