Role Summary

MLHealth 360 is seeking a hands-on Solution Architect with strong expertise in cloud

infrastructure, DevOps, backend systems, and scalable platform engineering. The ideal

candidate will combine architectural leadership with execution capability and help

build secure, scalable, and production-grade healthcare AI platforms.

This role will own overall platform architecture across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD,

observability, deployment automation, security, and application scalability while

working closely with product, engineering, AI, and clinical teams.

Candidates with exposure to MLOps and AI model deployment pipelines in healthcare

environments will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Strategy & Hybrid Cloud Management

• Define the long-term roadmap for a hybrid environment that balances the performance of on-premises hardware with the flexibility of the public cloud.
• Ensure our infrastructure is portable and resilient, capable of running seamlessly across different environments depending on data residency and compute needs.

FinOps & Cost Optimization

• Implement rigorous FinOps practices to monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spend.
• Balance capital expenditure (CapEx) on physical hardware against operational expenditure (OpEx) in the cloud to ensure maximum ROI for our compute-heavy workloads.

DevOps & Automation Excellence

• Design and implement end-to-end automation for software delivery, ensuring that deployments are frequent, predictable, and low-risk.
• Identify manual bottlenecks in the development and deployment lifecycle and automate them using modern orchestration tools.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Maintain the entire environment through code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.), ensuring that infrastructure is versioned and reproducible.

Software Engineering Mentorship

• Developer Advocacy: Act as the bridge between infrastructure and application code. Mentor developers on distributed systems design, API performance, and "Twelve-Factor App" methodology.
• Establish best practices for logging, monitoring, and error handling within the application layer to improve system observability.

Technical Requirements

• Core Infrastructure: Proven experience managing hybrid environments (AWS/Azure/GCP paired with on-prem data centers).
• Automation & Tools: Expert proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
• FinOps Proficiency: Experience with cloud billing tools and strategies for cost-tagging, reserved instances, and spot instance optimization.
• Development Background: Strong roots in software engineering (Python, Go, or similar), with the ability to perform deep-dive code reviews and architectural audits.
• Systems Administration: Comfortable with Linux internals, networking (VPNs, Subnets, Firewalls), and high-performance storage solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries (Healthcare/MedTech) where security and auditability are paramount.
• Familiarity with automating high-performance compute workloads (GPUs/Clusters).
• Relevant certifications in Cloud Architecture.
