Job Description -

Job purpose

Work on the different technologies used globally. Transfer an existing MES solution to a modern hybrid-cloud microservice environment. Develop and support the production site the same way.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop MES software for Lens Manufacturing
• Implement user interfaces based on React
• Design required API interfaces needed for UI functionality
• Implement UI Tests
• Reporting new bugs/issues and solve it on a code basis.

Qualifications

• A successfully completed degree in computer science/business informatics or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in SW Development
• At least 2 years experience as Senior front-end developer
• Proven track of new implemented user interfaces in React
• Experience in atomic design and component development

Skill Set

• Must Have: Using Modern IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, Visual Studio,)
• Must Have: Experience in writing UI in React
• Must Have: Basic Knowledge in HTML, JS, CSS
• Must Have: Very good written and spoken English.
• Must Have: Very good teamwork skills as well as a customer and service-oriented way of thinking and working.
• Must Have: Basic Knowledge in Usability
• Must Have: First experiences in working in international teams

• Should Have: Basic experience in usage of FIGMA
• Should Have: Basic knowledge of using GIT for source code versioning
• Should Have: Experience in FE testing e.g. based on Playwright

• Preferred: Experience in Accessibility
• Preferred: Knowledge of Linux environment
• Preferred: Usage of Azure Devops for CI/CD
• Preferred: Experience in developing distributed systems or using Micros Frontend Architectures
• Preferred: Experience in Containerized Deployment

• Bonus: Experience in event-driven Development
• Bonus: Programming experience in Java
• Bonus: Experience in development or adaption of MES systems

Other Attributes
