Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead backend development using Java (Java 8 and above), applying strong object-oriented and functional programming concepts.
• Design and implement scalable microservices and REST APIs using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Apply design patterns and best practices to build maintainable and extensible systems.
• Manage data persistence using Spring Data, JPA, and Hibernate with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing using JUnit and other testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate backend services with Angular/AngularJS applications.
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to cloud-native application development and modern deployment practices where applicable.
• Review technical designs, guide implementation, and ensure adherence to security and performance standards.
• Support technical interviews and provide expertise in evaluating engineering talent.
• Mentor and guide team members, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development and backend engineering.
• Expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Knowledge of Angular or AngularJS for frontend integration.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience in unit testing and code quality practices.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and guide engineering teams.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E., B.Tech, or equivalent).
