Software Engineer in Test

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SDET to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions. The role involves building automation frameworks, supporting end-to-end testing, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and improving overall quality engineering practices.

What youll be Responsible for?

• Design and implement end-to-end test automation strategies across functional and non-functional areas.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
• Develop automation scripts using Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve execution efficiency and reliability.
• Apply shift-left testing practices to support early defect detection.
• Work with BDD tools such as Cucumber to convert requirements into executable test scenarios.
• Develop end-to-end test solutions for complex systems.
• Perform database testing, including data validation, query verification, and backend data integrity checks.
• Continuously improve test processes, optimization, and automation value delivery.
• Explore AI-driven testing approaches such as test optimization, self-healing tests, and intelligent analysis.

What youd have?

• 4+ years of experience in QA, SDET, or automation engineering.
• Strong programming skills and problem-solving ability.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience designing and developing test automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of testing fundamentals and test design techniques.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and test automation pipelines.
• Experience with API testing, database testing, and Agile practices.
• Strong SQL skills for writing queries, validating data, and troubleshooting database-related defects.
• Preferred Skills
• Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar tools.
• Awareness of AI-driven testing and modern QA practices.
• Strong focus on test optimization, quality engineering, and value-driven automation.
