Software Engineer in Test

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.

We are hiring a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) for Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS). This role is focused on automation-first testing, requiring strong coding ability and experience building scalable test solutions across UI and APIs.

What You Will Work On

• Build and maintain automation frameworks using JavaScript
• Develop UI and API automated tests (Selenium/Cypress + REST)
• Ensure quality across functional, integration, and performance layers
• Collaborate closely with developers on test design and API validation
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve test coverage and efficiency

Must-Have (Strict Filters)

• 35 years in SDET / QA Automation roles
• Strong JavaScript coding skills (able to write and debug scripts independently)
• Hands-on experience with Selenium or Cypress
• Solid experience in API testing (REST, Postman, or similar tools)
• Experience working in Agile environments

Good to Have

• Experience building or contributing to automation frameworks
• Exposure to AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) for testing or coding
• Understanding of performance or integration testing
