Activeport is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing global engineering team based in Bengaluru.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative network orchestration and automation platforms used by Telcos, Data Centres and enterprise customers globally. The role combines automated testing, software development, DevOps tooling and infrastructure automation within a fast-paced technology environment.

Working closely with development, operations and product teams, youll help deliver scalable, reliable and high-performance software solutions while contributing to the continuous improvement of Activeports automation and deployment capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain automated UI and API testing frameworks

Develop and execute functional, regression and integration testing

Support CI/CD pipeline integration and automated software delivery

Work closely with engineering teams on troubleshooting and software quality initiatives

Assist with infrastructure automation and deployment tooling

Support testing and validation of network orchestration technologies and APIs

Contribute to platform reliability, performance and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

5+ years experience in SDET, QA Engineering or software development roles

Strong Java programming skills with Spring Boot / Spring MVC experience

Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG or JUnit

Experience with API testing tools such as Rest Assured or Postman

Exposure to Docker, Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD environments

Understanding of networking technologies and automation concepts

Experience with Git, Linux and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP

Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
