Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to improve the reliability, scalability, performance, and automation of our production systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, monitoring, incident management, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using observability tools.
• Develop automation solutions to reduce manual operational tasks.
• Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and performance.
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Optimize system capacity, performance, and availability.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Experience with networking concepts, load balancing, DNS, and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with incident management and on-call support.
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
