Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive SRE Engineer to join our team and help launch our product on the cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and security practices to enable a smooth and reliable product launch. The ideal candidate has strong Azure expertise with AWS exposure, hands-on experience with containers and DevSecOps, and a mindset geared toward leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate infrastructure work.

Responsibilities

Set up and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure (primary) and AWS (secondary)

Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes (AKS / EKS)

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment

Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep / ARM templates

Apply DevSecOps practices, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, image hardening, and policy enforcement

Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK

Manage networking, load balancing, ingress, and TLS/certificate handling for cloud workloads

Handle deployment automation, rollback strategies, and environment management (dev/stage/prod)

Collaborate with development teams to ensure containers, configurations, and releases follow best practices

Follow best practices in cloud security, cost optimization, and reliability engineering

Good to Have

Exposure to service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and API gateways

Knowledge of GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux)

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, HIPAA)

Experience with scripting in Python or Bash for automation

Certifications such as Azure Administrator, AKS, or AWS DevOps Engineer
