Shopify Developer + Digital Marketing Builder

Most Shopify roles ask you to maintain stores. At Techdome, you'll build high-converting D2C experiences that actually move the needle and own the marketing engine that drives traffic to them.

We're a team of 100+ engineers across Hyderabad, Indore, Mumbai, Dubai, and the US bootstrapped, profitable, and aggressively building products across AI, healthcare, automation, and commerce. From AI-powered platforms like JustInterview.ai to enterprise-grade systems handling healthcare and payments, we move fast, ship faster, and believe in ownership over hierarchy.

This isn't a "build it and throw it over the wall" role. You'll ship the storefront and shape how it's found, how it converts, and how it grows. If you obsess over clean UI, page speed, conversion psychology, and the dopamine hit of watching a campaign you built turn into revenue keep reading.

Roles & Responsibilities

Shopify Development

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS & JavaScript
• Build custom sections, templates, and Shopify features that scale
• Convert Figma/PSD designs into pixel-perfect Shopify storefronts
• Optimize for Core Web Vitals, speed, and mobile-first responsiveness
• Integrate third-party apps & APIs (payments, reviews, subscriptions, analytics)
• Implement dynamic Liquid logic and reusable storefront components

Digital Marketing & Growth

• Set up and manage performance campaigns across Meta, Google, and emerging channels
• Own on-page SEO, schema, site speed, and technical SEO for every store you ship
• Build and run email/SMS flows (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back
• Wire up GA4, Meta Pixel, GTM, and conversion tracking the right way (server-side where it matters)
• Run CRO experiments A/B tests on PDPs, checkout, landing pages and turn data into shipped wins
• Partner with content and design teams on launches, sales events, and brand campaigns

What we are looking for

• 13 years of Shopify development experience
• Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid (must-have)
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Hands-on experience running paid campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads) or managing email/SMS marketing for a D2C brand
• Working knowledge of GA4, GTM, and pixel/conversion tracking
• Eye for responsive design, performance, and conversion-focused UX
• Comfort with Shopify APIs, architecture, and app integrations

Good To Have

• Shopify Plus experience
• Git / version control
• Exposure to CRO tooling (VWO, Optimizely, Convert), heatmaps (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity)
• Headless commerce (Hydrogen, Next.js + Shopify Storefront API)
• SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog)
• Klaviyo, Postscript, or Attentive certifications
