ServiceNow IRM Developer

NowVia is hiring experienced ServiceNow IRM Developer. In this role you will lead end-to-end implementations of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) modules, architect integrations with enterprise systems, and act as a subject-matter expert guiding clients through risk & compliance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

IRM

Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow IRM modules: Policy & Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, and Business Continuity Management.

Translate business risk requirements into ServiceNow GRC workflows, risk registers, control libraries, and KRI/KPI dashboards.

Conduct gap assessments against frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and map controls to ServiceNow.

Maintain and enhance risk scoring models, heat maps, and executive reporting within the platform.

Lead workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, demonstrate capabilities, and validate solution design.

TPRM

Implement and configure ServiceNow TPRM: vendor onboarding, assessment workflows, due-diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and remediation tracking.

Build tiering models, risk scoring matrices, and monitoring workflows for third-party suppliers and critical vendors.

Integrate TPRM with external data feeds (e.g., BitSight, SecurityScorecard, Dun & Bradstreet) to automate risk intelligence ingestion.

Define SLAs, escalation paths, and automated notifications for overdue assessments and contract renewals.

Integrations

Architect and develop integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms (SIEM, ERP, ITSM, HR systems) using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub spokes, and MID Server.

Build and maintain flow designer automations, scripted REST APIs, and scheduled import sets for bidirectional data synchronisation.

Troubleshoot integration failures, monitor payloads, and optimise throughput for high-volume data pipelines.

Create and maintain technical design documents, interface specifications, and integration runbooks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation experience with a strong focus on IRM/GRC and TPRM modules.

CIS-IRM certification

Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting: Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Glide APIs.

Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP message configurations, and OAuth 2.0 / API key authentication.

Working knowledge of risk frameworks: ISO 31000, NIST RMF, COSO ERM, or COBIT.

Strong understanding of third-party risk lifecycle: onboarding, periodic review, offboarding, and continuous monitoring.

Proven ability to write and review technical design documents, FRDs, and deployment runbooks.

Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to C-level and senior stakeholders.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
