Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect with strong, hands-on expertise in ITSM (mandatory), ITOM, CSM, HRSD to design, build, and optimize solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The candidate should possess solid development skills, deep understanding of ITSM processes, and the ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions in an agile environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow ITSM modules, including:
  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management
  • Change Management
  • Request Management
  • Service Catalog
  • Develop custom applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, client/server-side scripts, Script Includes, and integrations.
  • Enhance and build Service Portal components and catalog items.
  • Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Create and manage REST/SOAP integrations and work with MID Server configurations as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, platform governance, and coding standards.
  • Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and support QA/UAT cycles.
  • Participate in upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities to ensure platform stability.
  • Document technical specifications, design approaches, and deployment processes.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 58 years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Mandatory: Strong expertise in ITSM modules and ITIL processes.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, HTML/CSS, and ServiceNow UI technologies.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB, service mapping fundamentals, and data models (good to have).
  • Experience in building and customizing Service Catalog and Service Portal.
  • Experience managing update sets, version control, and migration best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.


Certifications preferred: CSA (mandatory), CAD, CIS-ITSM.
