Sumitek Natraj Machinery Pvt Ltd is a growing manufacturing company based in Ahmedabad, engaged in the production of injection molding machines (80 Ton to 700 Ton range) with 5000+ installations globally.

Working with strong focus on in-house manufacturing, testing, and customer support.

Position: Service Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad (with travel across India)

Role Overview

We are looking for a practical, hands-on Service Engineer who can handle complete machine lifecycle support from installation to troubleshooting.

This is an all-rounder role, not limited to field service only.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Work (Major Role)

• Installation & commissioning of injection molding machines at customer site
• Machine trial, setting, and production support
• Attending breakdown calls and troubleshooting (hydraulic, electrical, mechanical)
• Customer training on machine operation & basic maintenance

2. Customer Support

• Provide support on Phone Calls
• Guide customers for quick problem solving remotely
• Maintain good relationship and communication with customers

3. In-House Support

• Work in testing department
• Assist in machine testing before dispatch
• Prepare testing reports & checklists
• Support assembly team for troubleshooting during testing
• Understand and handle all machine equipment (hydraulic, electrical, panel, etc.)

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare service reports after each visit
• Maintain basic records of service activity
• Coordinate with service office for updates

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of:
• Injection molding machines
• Hydraulics & electrical systems
• Machine troubleshooting
• Should be:
• Hands-on and practical (important)
• Ready to travel anytime
• Problem solving mindset
• Good communication with customers

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in injection molding machine manufacturing company (preferred)
• Experience in service / testing / assembly
• ITI / Diploma / Electrical / Mechanical background
