The Engine Room (TERo) is a motorcycle service studio based in Kondapur, Hyderabad.

We are dedicated to keeping motorcycles in pristine condition through servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and engine rebuilds. We believe every motorcycle deserves the same care and attention as the person who rides it.

Beyond servicing, TERo conducts workshops, rides, and events that help people understand motorcycles better and connect with like-minded enthusiasts.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Advisor/Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of the studio. The ideal candidate is a graduate with a strong interest in motorcycles, eager to learn both the technical and operational aspects of running a modern service studio. You will work closely with the founder to manage workflow and quality standards, while gradually taking ownership of the stores day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage store opening and closing operations

Coordinate vehicle onboarding, job allocation, and service tracking

Procure and maintain spare parts inventory

Conduct quality checks on serviced vehicles

Oversee billing, labour charge calculation, and expense management

Handle GST compliance, vendor payments, and basic financial record-keeping

Employee management, attendance and salary disbursement

Maintain operational standards, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction across the studio

Qualifications & Skills

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (preferred)

Experience:Proven experience as a Motorcycle Service Advisor (1+ Year)

Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of motorcycle components and servicing

Skills: Enthusiasm about motorcycles, strong organizational ability, accountability, interpersonal communication, and a willingness to learn business operations.
