Senior Visual Designer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Visual Designer who can create high-quality designs for brands, websites, digital campaigns, social media, ads, presentations, and marketing assets.

This role is not for basic Canva template editing. We are looking for someone with strong visual sense, layout skills, typography understanding, brand consistency, and the ability to create polished, professional designs across different industries.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with modern design tools, understanding creative briefs, improving rough ideas, and delivering clean, premium-quality visual outputs.

Key Responsibilities

* Create high-quality visual designs for social media, digital ads, websites, landing pages, presentations, and marketing campaigns

* Design brand assets, campaign creatives, carousels, banners, thumbnails, brochures, pitch decks, and website graphics

* Maintain brand consistency across different platforms and clients

* Convert rough ideas, content, and marketing briefs into polished visual designs

* Work closely with content, marketing, UI/UX, and web development teams

* Create clean layouts with strong typography, spacing, hierarchy, and visual balance

* Design performance-focused ad creatives for Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and other platforms

* Prepare design files properly for web, social media, print, and presentation use

* Improve existing creatives and make them look more premium and professional

* Manage multiple design tasks with deadlines

Required Skills

* 3 to 6 years of professional design experience

* Strong portfolio showing brand, digital, social media, ad, and web-related design work

* Strong understanding of layout, typography, spacing, color, hierarchy, and composition

* Good experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Canva

* Ability to create original designs, not just edit templates

* Experience designing social media creatives, ad creatives, website graphics, and pitch decks

* Ability to follow brand guidelines and create consistent visual systems

* Good attention to detail

* Ability to understand briefs and ask the right questions before designing

* Ability to work in a fast-paced agency/startup environment

Nice to Have

* Experience with motion graphics or short video creatives

* Experience with Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro

* Experience creating UI graphics, website sections, and landing page visuals

* Experience with AI design tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, or similar tools

* Experience designing for international brands or premium service businesses

Not a Fit If

This role may not be suitable if:

* You only use Canva templates

* You do not have a strong portfolio

* You are not comfortable with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma

* You struggle with typography, alignment, spacing, and brand consistency

* You cannot create designs from a brief without copying templates

* You are looking only for basic poster/social media editing work

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to share a portfolio.

Final selection will be based on an in-person interview and a short practical design test.

Location: On-site at Elatre office (Perungudi, Chennai)

Experience: 6 years

Working days: Monday to Saturday

Shift timing: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
