Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader Structural Design with strong expertise in ATA 53 (Fuselage) and extensive exposure to Airbus civil programs. The candidate will lead Transfer of Work (ToW) activities, drive drawing update/GAP closure initiatives, and manage end-to-end structural design delivery while ensuring customer satisfaction and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design activities for SA, LR & A350 civil programs
• Drive Transfer of Work (ToW) projects including drawing updates and GAP closure
• Ensure smooth execution of delivery support activities with quality and OTD focus
• Manage Airbus signatory responsibilities for ToW projects
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Pareto analysis for delivery blocking points
• Coordinate closely with onsite/offshore teams and Airbus stakeholders
• Ensure configuration control and compliance with PLM processes
• Own the complete design lifecycle from requirement to release
• Mentor and guide team members to enhance technical and delivery capabilities

Technical Requirements

• Strong expertise in ATA 53 Fuselage Structures
• Proven experience in Drawing Updates and GAP closure for ToW projects
• Hands-on experience with:
• Catia V5
• TAKSY
• CCD
• PASS SSI
• VPM (SA/A350)
• Strong understanding of:
• PLM systems
• Configuration management
• Engineering Change processes
• Exposure to Airbus programs including A350
• Certification/Training in Lean VPM, PAS, VPM (SA/A350)

• Delivery management with OTD and FTR focus
• Customer-facing experience with effective stakeholder management

Qualification

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent)

Mandatory Requirement

• Airbus signatory delegation holder for ToW projects
