Senior Software Engineer

Role description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer /TL
Location: PAN India

We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 3-8 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in observability platforms and cloud technologies, particularly Docker, Elastic Search, New Relic - Application Performance Monitoring, Python, and Splunk.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain observability platforms for log aggregation, metrics, and visualization.
2. Construct data pipelines, custom filters, and dashboards aligned with business needs.
3. Troubleshoot observability issues and collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams.
4. Support Unix/Linux administration, scripting, and container environments.
5. Document processes and contribute to system improvements and automation.
6. Dashboard setup and integration with ITSM tools.
7. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
8. Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features.

Required Experience and Skills:

1. 3-8 years of experience in the design and implementation of Synthetic monitoring, Real user monitoring, Log monitoring, APM setup.
2. Experience in industry-leading observability platforms such as ELK, NewRelic, Splunk, Datadog.
3. Strong AWS or cloud experience and Unix/Linux administration.
4. Hands-on experience in Datadog or New Relic or Elasticsearch observability.
5. Expertise in data ingestion, parsing, visualization, and troubleshooting.
6. Experience with container tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting (Python, shell).
7. Experience in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
8. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
