Job Description
- Strategy & Planning: Own the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), establishing test roadmaps, release criteria, and scalable automation strategies. [1]
- Test Automation: Design, build, and optimize automated test frameworks (using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Java/Cucumber) to elevate regression coverage. [1]
- System Integration: Validate complex integrations between microservices, APIs, and third-party systems. [1]
- Defect Management: Perform deep Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on defects to prevent systemic issues and distinguish between genuine bugs and environment failures. [1, 2, 3]
- Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior team members, conduct peer code reviews, and define key quality metrics. [1, 2]
- Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, Business Analysts, and Developers to implement Continuous Testing within CI/CD pipelines. [1]
