Job Description
Overview:Responsible for the end-to-end performance of wireless links, spectrum management, and radio hardware calibration.
Years of Experience:710 years in RF/Wireless Engineering.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Optimize Layer 1/2 parameters for LoRa mesh and Private 5G networks to ensure maximum reliability in contested environments.
- Calibrate and tune O-RAN compliant 5G Macro Radio Units for long-range (5km+) coverage.
- Research and implement atmospheric compensation algorithms for Free-Space Optical (FSO) links.
- Characterize andoptimizeantenna placement for multi-radio interference mitigation.
Technical Requirements:
- Deepexpertisein 5G NR Physical Layer and O-RAN specifications.
- Hands-on experience with SDRs (Ettus USRP) and GNU Radio.
- Proficiencywith RF simulation tools (MATLAB, HFSS, orRemcom).
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of PC5Sidelink/V2X communications.
- Experience with beamforming and phased array calibration.
