Job Title: Python Web/Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Python Web/Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, REST APIs, cloud services (especially AWS), and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable applications and RESTful APIs using Python.

• Build and maintain REST APIs using Flask and Django REST frameworks.

• Design and optimize relational databases and perform SQL operations efficiently.

• Manage version control using Git (distributed) and SVN (centralized).

• Work extensively with AWS cloud services, including EC2, EBS, CloudWatch, AWS Config, Auto Scaling, IAM, Lambda, and S3.

• Utilize JavaScript libraries for front-end or full-stack integration as needed.

• Write and maintain unit tests using frameworks like Pytest or unittest.

• Collaborate using tools such as Rally, Jira, and Confluence.

Experience working in the IoT domain or on IoT products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Python.

• Extensive experience with AWS serverless and managed services such as S3, EC2, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB, Athena, and Redshift.

• Solid understanding of privacy, security, and best practices in application development.

• Proven problem-solving skills, especially with data pipelines and cloud-based systems.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
