Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices.
• Implement resilience patterns such as retries, timeouts, and fallback logic.
• Utilize observability tools for metrics, logging, and tracing to ensure system reliability.
• Work with cloud-native system design patterns and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Support AI-powered services in production and work with rate-limited external APIs.
• Conduct performance profiling and load testing to optimize backend services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for backend services.

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in Python backend development
• Experience in building scalable REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend system design
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and cloud-native design patterns
• Experience implementing resilience patterns (retry, timeout, fallback, circuit breaker)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Experience with observability tools (logging, monitoring, metrics, tracing)
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, profiling, and load testing
• Experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching mechanisms
• Exposure to API integration and rate-limited external services
• Understanding of system reliability, scalability, and production support practices
• Knowledge or exposure to GenAI / AI-powered services (nice-to-have)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
