What You Will Do:
- Conduct end-to-end fraud investigations involving transactions, accounts, and customer activity
- Review and analyze suspicious transactions, alerts, and referrals across multiple fraud typologies
- Identify patterns related to payment fraud, identity theft, account takeover, mule activity, social engineering, and card fraud
- Perform deep-dive analysis using internal tools, transaction data, and open-source intelligence
- Document investigations clearly, including findings, rationale, and risk assessment
- Recommend account actions such as restrictions, closures, or escalations
- Escalate high-risk or complex cases to senior stakeholders with well-supported insights
- Support law enforcement requests, audits, and regulatory inquiries when required
- Collaborate with QA, AML, Risk, and Product teams to improve fraud controls
- Adhere to SOPs, SLAs, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Assist in mentoring junior investigators and sharing best practices
What You Will Need:
- Strong knowledge of fraud typologies and investigation methodologies
- 4–6 years in Fraud Investigation / Financial Crime / AML–Fraud Operations
- Hands-on experience with fraud detection tools, case management systems, and transaction monitoring platforms
- Ability to analyze large data sets and identify behavioral and transactional anomalies
- Understanding of KYC, AML, and financial crime frameworks
- Experience in writing clear, defensible investigation narratives
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience in digital payments, fintech, banking, e-commerce, or crypto platforms
- Exposure to cross-border fraud and international regulations
- Knowledge of chargeback processes and card network rules
- Certification in CAMS, CFE, or similar (preferred, not mandatory)
