Senior Platform Engineer

The Vacancy

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone who has been there and done it, so if you know what it takes to deliver complex projects at scale, then we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and optimise scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, ECS, Terraform)
• Improve system performance, reliability, and availability, with a focus on latency and scalability
• Build automation tools and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Implement secure, resilient architectures and best practices (RBAC, secrets management)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer productivity and system reliability
• Support live services, contribute to on-call rotations, and drive continuous improvement

Key Requirements

• Strong experience delivering cloud-based solutions (AWS) in DevOps/SRE environments
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform), containers (Docker, ECS Fargate), and CI/CD
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Knowledge of performance tuning, high availability, and secure architecture principles
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and a DevOps mindset
