We are seeking a Senior PL/SQL Developer to support and enhance a large, databasecentric monolithic B2C application. This role involves evaluating existing database components for performance, reliability, and scalability, and designing improvements that strengthen the applications operational efficiency. The developer will also implement new features, business rules, and datadriven logic within existing modules. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing PL/SQL code, stored procedures, packages, triggers, and data models to assess performance andidentifyoptimization opportunities.
• Design and implement enhancements to improve query performance, data processing efficiency, and overall system stability.
• Develop new features and business rules within the existingdatabasedrivenarchitecture, ensuring accuracy, maintainability, and backward compatibility.
• Collaborate with application developers, architects, business analysts, and QA teams to translate functional requirements into robust database solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, performrootcauseanalysis, and implementlongtermcorrective actions.
• Refactor legacy SQL and PL/SQL components to improve readability, maintainability, and performance.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Support integration efforts as the application evolves towardeventdrivenandmicroservicesbasedarchitectures.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for database development and optimization.
• Document database structures, logic flows, and system changes forlongtermmaintainability.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years ofhandsonexperience withPL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL optimization skills, including query analysis, indexing strategies, and execution plan interpretation.
• Experience working with large, complex, monolithic applications andhighvolumetransactional systems.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into efficient database logic.
• Solid understanding of relational database design, normalization, and data modeling.
• Experience with version control, SDLC processes, and enterprise change management.
• Strong analytical andproblemsolvingskills with the ability to work independently in afastpacedenvironment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to modernization concepts such aseventdrivenarchitecture, microservices, orAPIbasedintegration.
• Familiarity with cloud databases, distributed systems, or data streaming technologies.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., AWR, ASH, OEM).
• Background in B2C orhightrafficconsumerfacingapplications.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments.
