Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for a full-time role located in Bhubaneswar. The position involves managing Oracle database environments to ensure high performance and availability for a US based client of Stabdha. Responsibilities include overseeing database operations, replication processes, troubleshooting database issues, and implementing database security measures. The role also requires proactive monitoring, optimizing performance of the database systems, and planning for database growth while adhering to best practices. There will be mandatory overlap with US business hours (New York Time) in this position.

What You'll Work On

Oracle RAC & Data Guard managing high availability and disaster recovery in multi-node environments

Performance Tuning SQL/PL/SQL optimization, AWR/ADDM/ASH analysis, and bottleneck resolution

Oracle EBS / ERP patching, cloning, upgrades, and schema support

Cloud & SaaS database management across OCI, AWS, or Azure platforms

What We're Looking For

5+ years of Oracle DBA experience in enterprise environments

Strong SQL & PL/SQL skills for query optimization and automation

Hands-on expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN

Experience with Oracle EBS/ERP database support

Cloud database experience (OCI, AWS, or Azure)

Proficiency in Oracle 12c, 19c, and 21c

Excellent communication skills in English

Availability to overlap with US business hours

Nice to Have

Oracle OCP or OCM certification

Experience with Oracle GoldenGate

Familiarity with Oracle Multitenant / CDB-PDB architecture

Prior experience supporting US-based clients
