Role: Senior Lead Full Stack Engineer

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Role Overview

Designs, develops, and operates end-to-end software solutions across frontend and backend systems, combining deep technical expertise with a broad cross-functional understanding of product, platform, and operations.

Acts as a T-shaped engineer, bringing strong specialization while contributing effectively across adjacent domains such as DevOps, security, performance, and user experience to maximize product value. This role requires close collaboration with globally distributed teams across regions and time zones to ensure alignment, consistency, and successful delivery of shared product goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end and back-end components within service-based architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Own the end-to-end software lifecycle, from ideation and system design to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Apply T-shaped engineering principles, contributing beyond core specialization to areas such as product understanding, UX impact, reliability, and security.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance architecture, developer productivity, and product capabilities.
• Drive automation across system setup, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and operational processes in collaboration with DevOps practices.
• Identify system bottlenecks, technical debt, and architectural gaps; lead initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, and Security to deliver high-quality, customer-centric solutions.
• Engage in technical discussions with global stakeholders, contributing to architecture decisions, standards, and best practices.
• Make informed technical decisions by evaluating trade-offs across engineering, product, and operational dimensions.
• Promote engineering excellence by establishing reusable patterns, frameworks, and tooling.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning.

Professional Requirements and Expertise

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience building modern web applications and distributed systems.
• Strong depth in at least both domain (frontend and backend) with working knowledge across the stack (T-shaped profile).

Technical Skills

Frontend

• TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Frameworks: React, Next.js, PrimVue.js

Backend

• Java 17+, Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of software design principles including modular architecture, API design, and microservices.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is a plus.
• Ability to evaluate trade-offs and deliver pragmatic, scalable solutions.
