Role Description

We are looking for a seasoned Senior HR Manager with a strong background in the IT/Software industry to lead our people operations. You will be the backbone of our organizational growth, handling everything from strategic hiring to complex legal compliance and payroll management.

As we are a growing startup, we need a "hands-on" leader who can build HR frameworks from scratch and manage employee relations with professional maturity.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Recruitment: Lead talent acquisition for technical roles (AI/ML, Software Dev) and operations, ensuring a steady pipeline of "ready-to-work" talent.
  • Legal & Statutory Compliance: Expertly manage Indian Labor Laws, contract disputes, resignation protocols (including notice period negotiations), and statutory filings (PF/ESI).
  • Payroll & Compensation: Oversee salary structures, performance-based incentives, and monthly payroll processing.
  • Policy Development: Design and implement robust HR policies specifically tailored for a high-growth IT startup environment.
  • Employee Management: Handle onboarding, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and employee engagement to maintain a high-performance culture.
  • Leadership Liaison: Act as a bridge between management and employees, providing data-driven insights on workforce planning.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years in a Senior HR role, specifically within IT companies or Tech Startups.
  • Legal Expertise: Strong command over employment regulations, legal matters related to hiring/firing, and contract management.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or related field (MBA/MHRM preferred).
  • Skills: Proficiency in HRMS tools, Excel (for payroll/data), and excellent English/Malayalam communication skills.
  • Location: Must be willing to work full-time from our office in Mannarkkad.
