Looking for Senior Manager - HRBP for Bangalore
Location - Jakkur, Yehalanka
Key Role & Responsibility -
Business Partnering
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business goals and foster a positive work environment
- Participate in business review/planning meetings to understand HR needs and issues
- Partner with business leaders to identify HR needs, anticipate future requirements and provide strategic HR advice and solutions
- Lead the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace
- Identify competency gaps and collaborate with L&D for interventions to address them
- Participate in hiring decisions for key roles and need based compensation review discussions
- Support organizational change and business transformation initiatives as needed
Succession Planning
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key roles, critical talent pools and high potentials
- Lead talent review discussions, internal mobility and succession planning
- Collaborate with managers and department heads to assess performance, potential, and readiness for leadership roles
- Provide coaching and mentoring support to emerging and existing leaders
Talent Management
- Oversee the employee performance management process, driving a culture of high performance
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles
- Monitor and evaluate performance management processes to ensure fairness, consistency, and effectiveness.
- Provide coaching and support to managers in setting performance expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations
- Implement retention strategies to ensure key talent is engaged and retained
- Develop action plans to address engagement drivers and enhance employee experience
- Implement recognition and reward programs to celebrate achievements and reinforce desired behaviors
Employee relations
- Oversee the resolution of complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and adherence to legal requirements
- Provide guidance and support to managers in resolving employee conflicts and disputes
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, ensuring fair and impartial resolution
- Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance across all HR activities
- Monitor HR metrics and trends to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, and make recommendations for improvement
Team Leadership
- Lead, manage and build a high performing team
- Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills
- Provide leadership and guidance to HR Business Partners, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Behavioural competencies
- Proven 17 to 22 + years experience in HRBP roles
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that support business goals
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build effective relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
