Desired Experience Range: 8 to 12+ Years

Location of Requirement: Bangalore

Required Skill: Azure Data Factory / Synapse Pipelines, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks.

Technical/Functional Skills:

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications across the full technology stack. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in backend and frontend development, strong system design skills, and the ability to lead technical decision-making while mentoring junior engineers.

Strong hands-on experience with key Azure data services, typically including:

• Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2)
• Azure Data Factory / Synapse Pipelines
• Azure Databricks / Synapse Spark
• Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Azure SQL Database

1. Solid SQL skills (complex joins, window functions, performance tuning).
2. Experience with Python and/or Scala for data engineering (PySpark, notebooks, libraries).
3. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) is a plus

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

Application Development (Full Stack)

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications across frontend, backend, and data layers
• Build robust backend services using Java / .NET / Node.js / Python (based on stack)
• Develop responsive, high-quality user interfaces using React / Angular / Vue.js
• Implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs with proper versioning, security, and documentation
• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of applications

Data Transformation & Modeling

• Develop data transformation workflows using Azure Databricks / Synapse Spark / SQL for cleansing, enrichment, and aggregation.

Implement data models (star/snowflake, wide tables) for data warehouses, marts, or lakehouse layers.

Data Platform Engineering

• Build and optimize data storage on ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB as appropriate.
• Implement partitioning, indexing, and performance tuning strategies for large datasets.

Quality, Reliability & Operations

• Implement data quality checks, validations, and monitoring for pipelines (e.g., row counts, schema checks, anomaly detection).
• Automate deployments and configuration using CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).

Troubleshoot pipeline failures, performance issues, and data discrepancies; perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes.
