Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven Senior Finance Manager to lead a high-performing finance
team in India while overseeing APAC controllership in partnership with regional stakeholders.
This role blends strong controllership fundamentals with strategic business finance
partnering, supporting operations and functional leaders in a fast-growing MNC environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. APAC Controllership
Oversee regional controllership activities across APAC with support from India Finance
Manager and the team
Responsible for compliance under GST, TDS and other laws as applicable for the
Indian legal entity.
Oversee and support the payroll activities.
Mentor the AP and AR team.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
Drive accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Partner with auditors and manage statutory and regulatory requirements
Liaise with the bankers for all the banking-related requirements.
2. Business Finance Partnering (Core Focus)
Act as a trusted finance partner to operations and functional leadership teams
Provide actionable insights to drive business performance and decision-making
Support strategic initiatives, cost optimisation, and profitability improvement
Influence business outcomes through data-driven analysis
3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
Lead annual budgeting and monthly Triage processes
Build robust financial models and scenario planning frameworks
Monitor performance vs. plan and proactively identify risks and opportunities
Drive financial discipline and accountability across functions
4. Financial Analysis & Reporting
Deliver high-quality MIS reporting with meaningful insights for leadership
Strengthen reporting frameworks and dashboards for better visibility
Leverage AI and other tools for data analysis and financial modelling
5. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team in India
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
6. Systems & Process Excellence
Drive process improvements, automation, and standardisation
Leverage ERP systems effectively; experience with Workday (WD) is a strong
advantage
Key Requirements
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of relevant experience
Proven experience in business finance partnering within a fast-paced, growing MNC
Strong exposure to APAC controllership / regional finance operations
Exceptional skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Strong Excel and reporting capabilities (financial modelling, dashboards, etc.)
Experience with Workday (WD) or similar ERP systems is a plus
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
