Role Overview:

ETL Developers are essential architects of data processes, responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data into usable formats for analysis, making them indispensable in data warehousing and BI initiatives. The multifaceted role of an ETL Developer requires a blend of technical skills, analytical abilities, and soft skills like communication and project management to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of data flows.

Becoming an ETL Developer involves acquiring a relevant education, mastering technical tools and concepts, gaining hands-on experience through projects, and staying updated with industry trends.

Must Have Skills:

• ETL Tools: Microsoft SSIS, Talend, Apache Nifi, Apache Kafka, Air byte
• Programming & Scripting: SQL, PL/SQL, Python (Advanced), SQL (Expert), XML, JSON
• Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle SQL Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Hands on experience on ETL tools and responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data into usable formats for analysis.
• Knowledge and experience on database migration process. Understand and identify migration approach to extract data from one object and transfer to one or more database objects.
• Experience in SQL/PLSQL programming.
• Writing SQL Stored Procedures, Queries and Functions as needed.
• Experience of working in big business-oriented enterprise applications.
